Very big fireball over the south west of France
A bolide with a low inclinaison (20 ° ) passed over the southwest of France on 4 August 2017. It disappeared vertically from Périgueux at a height of 37km. It is unlikely that we got a miteorite on the ground given its terminal speed of 7.8km and a maximum magnitude of -13. This phenomenon was seen by fifteen FRIPON cameras and by many visual observers:
